A young Moscow based band playing noisy (post-) hardcore. Don't know what to compare it to.. the only thing that comes to mind is Bocage, Day 2 though they are quite different and probably nobody has ever heard of them, haha. Anyway be sure to check BD2 as well as Skverna, i like them both!

I remember listening to the latest Daughters album and not loving it at all. Didn't understand what was so good  about it. And shit, how i love the latest from TAWFAWW! Can't get enough of it. Since the more chaotic self-titled to crazy The Monroe Transfer ( which was not my thing haha ) and now to this noisy blues or something they still have their own sound. Awesome! Think i should give Daughters one more try.

The fact that each of the ten tracks has something new to offer is the true story of this record. While Take A Worm’s idea of accessible music is enough to make the more casual listener cower behind the sofa, after all this record is anything other than conventional, there’s much going on here to suggest that this lot may just have opened plenty of doors for themselves. More to the point, for those who crave a sound that’s fresh, exciting and totally original, ‘TAWFAWW’ is, without a doubt, the album for you.

It's getting harder and harder to find new words to describe French bands. Think i should start studying English again. If i heard this record without knowing the band i'd surely know this comes from France by the way it sounds: loud, noisy and intelligent. Don't know what else.. let yourselves be the judges.

Sludgy noise rock from Belgium. The sound is powerful, some specific instruments (like saxophone and cello, i guess) are used. There's a cool review by Max which i absolutely agree with, here is a part of it:

 Drums are for parades hail from Belgium, and they are the newest noisy and hammering explosion. Think The Melvins, think Big Business, think Queens of the Stone Age in an experimental vibe and you know what you got in your front garden. In 2008 the band already released a 10" and this is their first full-length release.

And thats what Martijn said about Master at massmovement.co.uk:

It leans heavily towards the massiveness of Black Sabbath, Kyuss and Mastodon, but their own twists take it, quite literally, out of this world.

I don't know what to say about this album. Can't find the words. It's simply amazing. It's hard to classify the one. It's instrumental. It was named the best album of the month at viceland.com. What else... i don't know.. You must give it a listen!
